From America’s well managed forests come’s a product that ha been a staple for wood working projects for centuries. The species is called White Ash and we have put it to good use making thermally modified wood decking and siding products in a variety of useful and attractive profiles. Our thermally modified Ash products provide an affordable, environmentally friendly alternative to imported exotic hardwood.
The process of thermal modification allows the Ash species to remain as a useful outdoor product which can have a life of 25+ years as decking material and over 50 years as a siding product. We produce a 5/4 x 6 deck board and a 1×6 deck board with the sides already grooved to accommodate our hidden fasteners so no face mounting is required. Lengths will run from 5ft up to 12ft and the decking comes boxed like hardwood flooring. The decking also comes end matched which offers additional strength while offering the benefit of easier installation. The end-matching profile we have incorporated into our decking is among the many “smart solutions” we are proud to offer.
