Architects & Engineers in abundance at Wood Solutions Fair Toronto 2018

Another successful event showcasing just how versatile wood can be utilized in modern construction designs these days. Wood is being emphasized in many structural specifications that has opened up new opportunities to utilize not only its natural beauty but its structural strength.The Wood Solutions Fair is the premier event in Canada dedicated to design and construction with wood and wood products.

This years event was held at the International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Several hundred professional specifiers were in attendance taking time to visit with the many exhibitors that were showcasing their wood products. Some of Canada’s leading experts in architecture were guest speakers for the educational component of the fair. It’s in large part why the Wood Solutions Fair remains so popular with its attendees. 

Canada is home to more then 22,000 individuals educated and engaged in architectural endeavors including over 34,000 civil engineers working in architectural engineering and related services. There are significant opportunities that lie ahead for use of wood in construction. It is Canada’s most natural, renewable and readily available resource and it’s inherent limitations are only perceived.
